The rugged WarriorTM family of terminals operates in C, X, Ku, and Ka bands and range in antenna size from less than 1 Meter to 6.3-Meters. Warrior terminals are designed to support a wide range of applications to meet changing civil and military current and future force requirements. From Troposcatter to Satcom, Warrior’s fixed, mobile, man portable and transportable units deliver secure (COMSEC Type 1, TRANSEC Type 2) reliable high-data rate communications in the harshest conditions.

Satcom-on-the-MoveTM
X, Ku, Ka-Band Terminals
The Satcom-on-the-MoveTM (SOTM™) terminals, developed and manufactured by General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies, offer robust voice and data wideband satellite communications from vehicles in motion over rugged terrain. X, Ku and Ka-band modular, interchangeable payloads are available. The full-motion SOTMTM terminals can be deployed on a wide variety of both on-road and off-road military and commercial vehicles via our flexible Above-the-DeckTM flush mount design. The fully interoperable, joint service terminals are field proven in demanding off-road combat operational conditions and are currently deployed in theaters of operation worldwide. Current customers include the US DOD and international MODs. X, Ku, and Ka-band terminals offering even higher data rates are available and are currently fielded by international customers. The General Dynamics SOTM™ terminal is the first such system to be licensed by the FCC for use in the United States.
