 VertexRSI’s Air Traffic Control (ATC)
and Radar Antennas provide optimum performance for SSR (Secondary
Surveillance Radar) applications in the 1030 and 1090 MHz frequency
range. The SSR antennas are used world wide for ground control and
air traffic management governed by strict international standards.
David Bowne, TriPoint Global’s Vice President, Sales – Eastern

require optimal design and tight control of manufacturing tolerances
to achieve the gain, sidelobes and cross polarization levels
required for high performance and high reliability radar systems
vital to ground control and air traffic management. Both of these
antennas can operate in a stand-alone configuration or be mounted on
a primary radar antenna for fixed and transportable military and
commercial applications.”
Each ATC or Radar antenna is fully tested to demonstrate compliance
with all applicable specifications at VertexRSI’s FAA-approved test
range in Kilgore, Texas. The test range is one of only two such
privately held facilities in the US.
The ATC and Radar antennas are included in VertexRSI’s line of
Technical Products. The Company’s Technical Products business
represents the merger of two long time market leaders: the former
RSI Technical Products of Sterling, Va. and the VertexRSI Antenna
Products Division in Kilgore, Texas. The transfer of tooling and
experience in ATC and Radar antenna products from the former plant
in Sterling to the company’s state-of-the-art facilities in Kilgore
allows the Company to continue to provide the high quality products
for which this line has long been known.
A complete line of towers is available to complement the ATC and
Radar antenna product line. Standard product designs include the
DASR, TDWR, PRM, ASDE-X and ASDE-3 towers. Customized tower designs
are available to fit any requirement.
