Broad range
of customer support boosted orders, sales and
helped TriPoint Global meet it's financial plan.
TriPoint
Global Communications and its VertexRSI, Gabriel and Prodelin brands
turned in a record performance in 2003 exceeding internal goals for
orders and sales. Marvin Shoemake, Executive Vice President for
Sales at TriPoint Global, said, "By every financial measure 2003 was
the best year in the history of TriPoint Global Communications."
Customers key to
success
"Many factors contributed to the positive results of 2003," Shoemake
added, but the most important was the contribution of our customers
across our product lines – from structures and controls, to
antennas, electronic products and systems. Our customers made 2003 a
banner year for TriPoint Global."
"We greatly appreciate the confidence our customers placed in our
products and service solutions." Shoemake added. "2003 was a
particularly challenging year for our government businesses," he
said. "Many of our government customers escalated their requirements
for quantities and demanded a reduced delivery schedule. I am
pleased to say TriPoint Global’s business units were able to meet
those increased demands."
"It’s not enough to have a good year and simply point to rising
economic indicators as the cause," Shoemake said. "The truth is you
create a good year by meeting customer expectations one order at a
time. We didn’t win every competitive bid. And sometimes we made
mistakes. But when three large brands like VertexRSI, Gabriel and
Prodelin exceed their financial goals; you know that behind the
numbers are customers who are depending on your performance, your
products and your integrity to get the job done. We at TriPoint
Global are grateful for that confidence and are energized even more
to do the right things to serve our customers."
