Fly Away / Quick Deploy
SATCOM Technologies’ innovative WarriorTM 120 (1.2-Meter) and WarriorTM
180 (1.8-Meter) multi-mode tactical terminals provide communication
via satellite, troposcatter, diffraction or line-of-sight using C,
X, K, Ku or Ka-bands. The highly transportable, self-contained,
field configurable packages can be fully deployed and made
operational in less than 20 minutes by trained operators.
Communications On-the-Quick Halt
SATCOM Technologies' next generation 2.4-Meter Trailer-Mounted SATCOM Terminal (TMST)
is optimized for "in-theater" over-the-horizon communications. The
TMST is ideally suited for tactical, On-the-Quick-Halt
communications. It can be configured for either SATCOM or
Troposcatter modes to meet changing tactical requirements, carries
its own on-board power generator and provides transmit and receive
data rates up to 4 Mbps. The ultra-lightweight TMST trailer allows
for more armament to be allocated to towing vehicles and facilitates
transportation via helicopter, ship, flatbed truck or rail.
"Reliable,
easy-to-deploy communications products are vital to the success of
tactical missions," said Brad Majeres, General Manager of Programs
for SATCOM Technologies. "General Dynamics is the original equipment
manufacturer for the VertexRSI antennas, electronic products and
monitor and control systems that comprise these terminals, ensuring
a high-quality, reliable, and accurate on-the-move communications
solution for our customers."
Whether the communications requirement is commercial, civil or
military, the reliable transmission and reception of video, voice or
data is essential to mission success. General Dynamics' WarriorTM
product line leads the industry by delivering SATCOM terminals to
meet these changing requirements.
